Cigarettes could soon become a luxury, or maybe just a rarity for the Icelanders, as the governmentseems to have every intention to ban the sale inregular stores.
The parliament of Reykjavik is already discussing a proposal that would outlaw cigarettes, at least according to current procedures.
If output goes ahead the last anti-smoking,pharmacies would only give permission to "blondes"to Iceland's most avid and that would not be able to do without nicotine.
In this case would require a special prescription withthe doctor's instructions, allowed only to over 20.
For at least 10 years Iceland continues his battleagainst cigarettes, before putting the red disc in allpublic places, including sidewalks and parks and in cars with children aboard.
Now this new crusade is directed to producers to sellpackages without pictures, with a tin of brown.
I hope this campaign will be also effective in the Philippines .
